After seeing some surprisingly cute Old Navy items on the lovely Gigi (reviewed here and here), I decided to stop by the ol' store and check it out for myself.

First up, the Printed Crew Sweatshirts - reg. $19.94, on sale in-store for $9.99
The blue that I'm trying in the pics above is a Medium. Definitely a little baggy, but not bad at all. If I wanted a more roomy, slightly slouchy look, this is the size that I would take. Love the print, but I don't have any need for this color in my wardrobe.
I decided on a whim to try the gray floral print (here in XS), although it's really not my bag. While it is nice to see the print in these colors, it was just not for me. Btw, the XS was way too tight for me. Super fitted in the dressing room, I'd hate to see it after the post-wash shrinkage.
Aaaaand, just right. In the off-white print, I found the perfect combination. I'm wearing a small in this color and I felt that it fit nicely. Not too tight, not too baggy. And love how the print pops since I'm always a sucker for a black/cream combo. The material is a little stiff, but I think it will break in nicely.
Next, the Lace-Front Slub-Knit Tee - reg. $19.94, on sale in-store for $16.99
The store had these shirts on display at the front when you first walked in. I think I squealed in delight when I saw these...no joke, a squeal literally came out of my mouth. And then I looked around sheepishly to make sure that no on heard. True story.
I have J.Crew's crochet lace-front tee in navy, but missed out on other colors. I was happy to see that Old Navy has something similar in a variety of colors. I ended up taking home the pink (wearing S in the fitting room), but may go back for the coral (wearing XS). Btw, the small fit best, so I would say TTS.
Long-Sleeve Crepe Blouse - reg $32.94, select colors on sale online for $19.97 and $12.97
Meh, this was just okay. For 100% poly, I didn't have high expectations. That being said, I'd rather pay more and have a higher quality piece. I've been looking for a blouse similar to this that I can wear to work and also wear dressed up, and in the pics, it looks okay (if a bit wrinkly; wearing a size S for reference). But it just felt a tad cheap. However, if you're looking for a less expensive alternative to silk, then I'd say this would be a good choice. They were out of my size in some of the other colors, but I would have tried on this color if they had it:
Then, I spotted the Striped Ponte-Knit Blazer - reg. $39.94, on sale online for $35.00!
I actually thought this was decent quality, but it was tight! I'm wearing a size S in the pics, but I should have grabbed a Medium and Large to try on. I love the ponte-knit blazers and have yet to add a striped one to my closet. I didn't see this on sale in-store, but apparently it's on sale online. I may go back to try on a larger size to see if it would work.
Oxford Shirt in Navy Dot - reg. $24.94, on sale online for $14.97!
Love! This wasn't on sale at the store, but now that it is online, I think I'm going to pop this in my cart. Nicely fitted but still enough room. The polka dots aren't too overwhelming but add a nice bit of interest. Wearing a size XS in the pics, which fit nicely, so I would say runs small to TTS (depending on how loose or how fitted you want).
Boat-Neck Jersey Top - reg. $19.94, on sale in-store for $9.99
Wearing a small in the pics above.
I really liked this top, but I have so many striped shirts that I'm trying to cut back. However, this was a thick enough shirt to be a good deal at that price. I didn't bite, but if you're in the market I would say snap this baby up! The XS was a little too fitted, I preferred the S--runs TTS.
Anchor-Print Chambray Shirt - $26.94
I liked, but didn't love. I'm all for prints, but for some reason I found this under-whelming. Weird that I loved the polka dots but wasn't wowed by this. Yeah, I don't know why. Fits similar to the Oxford Shirt, wearing size XS and liked this fit as well.
And lastly, the Graphic-Crew Sweater - reg. $29.94
I don't know why the website pics look so different from the fitting room pics. The website says that it's the navy-blue print, but that definitely does not look Navy to me. For some reason, I really disliked this sweater. I think it's because you can see the anchors up close, but from far away, the print looks more like a leopard print (at least to me). I'm not a huge animal print person (I might rock some shoes, but that's about it). Plus, the material felt a little cheap, and I just couldn't wait to take this off. Size is XS for reference.
And, before I leave you, here is an OOTD taken quickly before I left:
I wanted to take advantage of a real full-length mirror and get a few shots in before I left. Please excuse the disheveled appearance, it was late (right before store closing) and combined with rainy weather just left for a crazy look with bits 'o hair coming out everywhere.
